In the midst of Foley's 100th anniversary, the city is aunching headlong into the future with multi-million dollar projects — one of which is the pedestrian bridge that will stretch 108 feet across Alabama 59.

Turtle Tracks™ is a public art project dedicated to the awareness and support of environmental conservation, sustainable tourism, and community arts and culture, while enhancing the quality of life along Coastal Alabama.

Be sure to check out the new Gulf Shores Welcome Center! If you're heading south, you'll find the Welcome Center just before the Intercoastal Waterway Bridge at 3459 Gulf Shores Parkway.

The Ruby Slipper Café (started in New Orleans in 2008) now has a location at 24151 Perdido Beach Blvd., just west of the Live Bait restaurant in Orange Beach.
