Be sure to check out the new Gulf Shores Welcome Center! If you're heading south, you'll find the Welcome Center just before the Intercoastal Waterway Bridge at 3459 Gulf Shores Parkway.
The Ruby Slipper Café (started in New Orleans in 2008) now has a location at 24151 Perdido Beach Blvd., just west of the Live Bait restaurant in Orange Beach.
