*The Foley Beach Express operates as a one-way pair near the Intracoastal Waterway.  Southbound traffic funnels off the express highway and over the new Intracoastal Waterway Bridge.  Once across the bridge,  drivers are routed onto a free-flow intersection and roundabout with access to either Gulf Shores or Orange Beach.  Southbound Route:  Traffic coming down uses the new AL-161 bridge connector.  Northbound Route:  Traffic uses the existing Foley Beach Express (AL-161) lanes.
