In August 2016, the Alabama Coastal Foundation received a grant from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) to establish an oyster shell recycling program for local restaurants! NFWF is providing the funding for this project as a part of the Gulf Coast Conservation Grants Program.

One special Friday evening each month, the streets of Historic Downtown Pensacola come alive for Gallery Night. Local businesses open their doors to the night air as visitors and locals alike flood the streets to enjoy music, art and cuisine. 

Over the past month, local news outlets have spoken with President of Rogers & Willard, Mike Rogers, about downtown’s latest community living development, Meridian at the Port.
