Description

Island Tower #801 is an east corner gulf-front 3 bedroom 3 bath condominium located on the 8TH floor overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The unit is approximately 1600 sq ft with 9-foot ceilings, 20 inch tile floors, floor-to-ceiling tinted windows and sliding glass doors. The kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances with double ovens all set in granite counter tops. The condo has 8 foot interior doors and high efficiency air conditioning system. The master en suite bathroom has double vanities, jetted tub and separate shower. The two guests bathrooms have tub/shower combinations. Sleeps 8.

Island Tower is a 26 story building with 62 units (three to each floor) with covered garage parking located 0.5 miles West of Highway 59 in Gulf Shores. The property has an infinity outdoor pool and an infinity climate-controlled indoor pool. The exercise room offers a dry sauna and workout equipment overlooking the gulf. The property also has a picnic/grill area.

Review: Nice condo in a great location. Condo was equipped with everything you would need. It was clean and well maintained. Be sure to contact the stay and play service in advance. We all agreed we would stay here the next time we visit Gulf Shores.

Review: The views are stunning! It was lovely waking up to the bright morning light from the ceiling to floor windows.

Review: Unit 801 is huge! Living room has Floor to ceiling windows from the MBR wall to the kitchen cabinets- spectacular views!! Lovely tile floors throughout with exception to bedrooms which was carpeted. Kitchen was large and well stocked. W/D was great to have in unit. We did have a great stay despite the storm.

Overall, not bad. Nice unit, great view, comfortable accomodations. Certainly spoiled with a 3 bed/3 bath. The ceiling in bedroom one needs work,crumbling, debris on floor. I sent in a photo of this. Also, the elevators are just horrible. That's the reason we won't go back to this location. Even the owners there hate them. Don't understand why they don't fix them. Our unit, 801, only one key would work. Liked the indoor pool and gym, but didn't get to use them. Elevator on East side will not stop at floor 2. which was inconvenient to our party.

I Just wished that the renovations on the condo would have been disclosed when booking cause I could've used another property. I am just glad that I wasn't handicapped because my trip would have been miserable.
