Indoor Water Park | 200-room Hotel and Conference Center | RV Park

OWA officials announced Tuesday, April 2nd, 2019 an indoor water park, a 200-room hotel and conference center along with a luxury, family friendly RV Park are coming to the Gulf Coast.

The Foley project is said to cost $100 million which is an OWA development and is scheduled to start the summer of 2019.

The first phase includes retail and entertainment and a 14-acre amusement park.  The retail includes Alvin's Island and Pepper Palace.  Paula Deen's Family Kitchen is planned to open soon.  The Park has 21 rides which includes the infamous Thunder roller coaster.

The addition of a water park is appropos or some would say a natural fit for the OWA, a Muscogee word for "big water".  This water park will be the Gulf Coast's largest indoor water park.  OWA chose to do an indoor water park as it will allow guests a year-round opportunity to play in the water.

The RV park is set to open by the end of this year.  The hotel and indoor water park are set for a 2021 opening.
