Bellingrath Gardens and Home’s kid-focused Wonderful Wednesday program! Learn about the wildlife and ecology of the Gulf Coast from a variety of environmental organizations throughout the region. 

The Raptor Road Show features native birds of prey that have been rescued and rehabilitated at the Center, a natural sciences education facility owned by the Mobile County Public Schools System.

Delta Safaris operates out of Five Rivers on the mouth of Mobile Bay. The company is coastal Alabama’s leading tour operator and only Delta specialist. The 45-minute cruise in and out of Bellingrath Gardens’ Riverfront Pavilion will focus on the biodiversity of the Fowl River.

The Dauphin Island Sea Lab will set up their Discovery Hall touch tables in the Magnolia Room. The displays are a great chance for budding marine biologists to learn about what swims and crawls in the Gulf of Mexico and on the Gulf Coast shores!

Bellengrath Gardens is excited to welcome the following environmental organizations to this year’s event: Alabama Coastal Foundation, Dauphin Island Sea Lab’s Discovery Hall Programs, Dauphin Island Sea Lab’s Alabama Marine Mammal Stranding Network, Environmental Studies Center, Fowl River Volunteer Fire Dept., Keep Mobile Beautiful, Leave No Trace, Mobile Baykeeper, 5 Rivers Delta Resource Center, 5 Rivers Delta Safaris, Share the Beach, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services and USFWS Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge.
