50/50 for this stay. Condo 602 was nicely decorated and clean. There seemed to be enough dishes and cookware available for use. Mattress was old and should be replaced. Could literally feel the springs. Access to the beach was good. Building was in a convenient location but is on the older side and it shows. Parking is terrible because spaces were too small (really made for a small car) and even if you are between the lines you can barely get out without hitting the car next to you with the door. So many people ended up going over the line and taking up more than one space.

We had the best time staying at this condo in Gulf Shores! Everything was spotless and well taken care of, you can really tell the owners take pride in keeping it nice for guests. The view was absolutely beautiful and made every morning and evening feel extra special.

Everything in the condo worked perfectly, and the beds were so comfortable, we all slept like babies. The kids had an absolute blast too! It’s in the perfect location, within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and of course, the beach.

The owner was amazing to work with and made everything so easy from start to finish.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend!

My husband and I very much enjoyed my first trip to Gulf Shore. It was largely due to the condo being just a great place to stay. I appreciated that it wasn't a high rise with huge parking lot and tons of people coming and going. The condo was clean and very nice and the perfect size. The balcony made morning coffee especially enjoyable as it was so close to the water and I sat and watched the dolphins each morning. The only complaint we had (if you can call it that) is that the television in the bedroom was very difficult to watch. It seemed to lag a lot even though it was connected to the wifi. I like to sleep with the tv on for white noise and it was annoying that it wouldn't stream Netflix or any other app consistently. It seemed very outdated. Otherwise the niceness and cleanliness was spot on. I am very happy with our stay.

Our experience started shaky and ended that way. The elevator was not working properly when we got there. We thought we'd have to carry everything up 8 flights but after about 10 minutes the doors finally opened (still wasn't sure I wanted to get in).The morning of our depwas different. The elevator didn't work at all. Made a call to GSR to report. Don't know how long it took to repair. My 70 yo husband had to make 4 trips down 8 flights of stairs with our things and back up. Not good! Other than that the unit itself was clean & sufficient. Location was great. Love GSR's Stay & Play package.

The condo is very old and needs updating. Water was leaking from above the stove and in the ceiling. The sheets were rough and mattress was not ideal. Lots of noise during the night and light shining into the bedroom from the hallway. Pretty view of the beach and very convenient to get to the ocean.

We have stayed at this condo before. They have updated it since last summer, which was nice. We have been to Gulf Shores around 8 times and really enjoy it there. We drive, so it's not too bad from Kansas City.

For the cost of this rental, there are much better options available. The unit, although fairly clean with a nice view, was very dated and could use upgrades and repairs to the bedroom window (uninsulated + cracked window pane), appliances (old stove, rusted/dirty refrigerator), and bathroom (tub fixtures are old, doesn’t drain + loud dripping noise that doesn’t subside). In addition, there are baseboards/walls that need repair and the walls are extremely thin. I heard my neighbor snoring as if he were in the same room, along with entire conversations. All-in-all, the 4 days in this unit did not meet my expectations and I would steer clear of staying here again.

Unit was everything advertised. Great location on Beach Blvd. Great balcony view of ocean and beach. Bedroom is quiet and away from beach. Kitchen is adequate although the stove is long in the tooth and a tad cantankerous. We had a problem with the TV but it was handled quickly by the rental company. Overall rating: EXCELLENT

Westwind 602 was wonderful.

My daughter graduated and turned 18. Her senior year was such a bummer, I'm so happy we had the opportunity to stay in this unit and celebrate her accomplishments.

The unit was the perfect size and the location was superior. Just down and out the doors and a few steps and you are on the beach.

Room stayed cool air unit worked great and the balcony view was wonderful. I had breakfast there every morning.

My kids have already suggested we return here next summer.

Looking forward to our next adventure.

Westwind #602 is an interior gulf-front 1 bedroom 1 bath condominium on the 6th floor overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The unit is approximately 700 sq ft with views of the gulf from the living room which has a queen sofa sleeper. The entire condo has been freshly painted and redecorated in November 2023, boasting a new kitchen with granite countertops, new cabinetry, new refrigerator, and stove in May of 2023. The condo has hallway bunks and a fully equipped kitchen with a washer and dryer. There is one full bath with a tub/shower combo. The master bedroom is located on the north side of the condo which has a king bed and new carpet. King, Hallway Bunks, Sofa sleeper. Sleeps 6. ONE CAR LIMIT.

Westwind is a 9-story building with 4 units per floor located 1 mile West of Highway 59 in Gulf Shores. Westwind has an outdoor pool and grilling area. Westwind has an outdoor pool and grilling area. The building has new exterior paint colors and new windows and sliding glass doors.
