Overall, we had a great experience, staying 6 nights.
We enjoyed our stay! The unit was as advertised, with a lovely balcony view of the beach. There is quick and easy access to the outdoor pool and the beach.
Overall, it was very clean when we arrived, though we did notice the inside door to the elevator hall needs cleaning or repainting, and the master bathroom floor (which we wiped when it got wet) needs extra cleaning. The kitchen and living areas were clean and stocked sufficiently for our cooking and playing needs (with the exception of needing potholders).
The elevator was reported to us (by another guest) as functioning inconsistenty, though it caused us no problems, and it was scheduled for maintenance service the day we checked out.
We did use the washer and dryer, stove/oven, and refrigerator, all of which worked well. The AC cools most of the unit sufficiently, with the exception of the master bedroom, which was warm. (We think it's because it shares a lot of wall space with the exterior hallway where the elevator and AC external units are, and that space stays quite warm.)
Our travel group was 4 adults and two children. Sleeping amenities were good, though the master bedroom mattress is very soft and indented on one side, which made it uncomfortable for one of us.
Some areas of the unit are beginning to show wear and tear, but certainly did not hamper our fun and enjoyment! We had a great week.

Lots of added fees.
Needs some love and fresh paint. Also wish we would have known about the construction in process.

Beach was nice and not too crowded> Condo and unit has some age to it. Single beds are squeaky and the king slopes towards the foot of the bed.
Den furniture was not comfortable at all. Quite an assortment of dishes and glasses and not much silverware.
Freezer didn't freeze for the first 2 days nor did the ice maker.
Pool no the cleanest and had a dog swimming in it one day.
Ground of the building could use some love.
Enjoyed the 7th floor and corner unit.
Elevator was quick with a short walk to the beach.

Very clean, comfortable beds and spacious. Kitchen is well supplied with everything you would need. Balcony has a beautiful view and to top it off. You are right on the beach.

Location was great for the beach, elevators moved quickly, nice size property to go back and forth from beach easily. Several maintenance or poor construction/remodel issues. Water pressure and lack of hot water in the main shower, but scalding hot water in the kitchen :/

This is the second time we have stayed at Legacy. We like the smaller condominiums that are not high rise. We enjoyed the room and the beach. There was plenty of room for our family of six. My only complaint is that other guests took over the whole pool and it was like a wild party every day. We didn’t get to enjoy the pool as much because of this. They left trash everywhere and we couldn’t escape the smell of cigarettes while on our balcony or the pool. Not to sound like a “Karen”, but I feel there are rules for staying here, but there is no one around to enforce them.

This is the second time we have stayed at Legacy. We like the smaller condominiums that are not high rise. We enjoyed the room and the beach. There was plenty of room for our family of six. Great condo and loved the location. I loved that it was right on the beach. The only thing that was a little frustrating was the water pressure in the unit. It was very low so showering took longer. Overall I would use this condo again. It was spacious with gorgeous views

Love how close the beach is. Plenty of room for our large bunch. A/c worked great. Beds are comfortable. Needs a large skillet. We borrowed our neighbor's.

We got to our rental and everything was good but one of the comforters we called the the rental agency they sent house keeping right out and they brought a new one right out. The condo was great for the age it could use some paint on baseboards but all in all a good place too stay I would stay again for sure I’d give it 3.5 to 4 ⭐️’s overall for cleanness, location and use of elevator condo is only 8 floors with 3 units on each except the top only 2 units

Awesome location walking distance to all main attractions. A 5 minute drive to pick up Groceries and supplies, very convenient.

Absolute perfect location! Only complaint we had, the condo really needs a deep cleaning. Couldn’t walk on floors without feet getting black and 2nd bedroom needs shelf moved up on wall to keep from taking your head off.

Great location and plenty of room for 6 people. The view was awesome! There were a couple of issues like the comforter was not clean. Loose leg on a chair and refrigerator but my husband took care of it. We had a great time!

Over all I was very satisfied with the condo and Gulf Shores. We did not know that Ida was forming in the Gulf. We left a day early because we did not want to get stuck in a flooding area. It would of been nice to hear from the management on if we should leave due to flooding on Sunday.

Legacy 703 was the right size for our family of 6. The kitchen was well stocked and the living room was nicely decorated and had plenty of comfortable seating. The bathroom in the 2 en-suites and the pool could use some updates but were functional. Easy beach access and not far from shopping. We would stay here again

The condo apparently had some recent updates, but some cosmetic changes doesn't fix some of the fundamental issues.

- shower head in one of the bathrooms wasn’t working properly- sprayed all over the bathroom- my husband had to tighten it
- TV wasn’t hooked up for cable/satellite TV- had to hook it up and each room has a TV stand that hangs at about 5 ft and we would almost crack our heads!
- there were NO potholders. I figured these would be provided as we were not told to bring our own.
- there was 1 dresser between the 3 bedrooms which is fine BUT there were 4 HANGERS in the entire unit- I didn’t realize I had to bring my own as well. No luggage valets/racks- so our clothes were just ON the floor.
- wicker stool in kitchen is worn/torn on the seat to the point where it can scrape and cut one’s legs
- master bedroom comforter is stained as were the sheets.
- garbage disposal was broken and stunk like a diaper full of vomit (no one reported it; maintenance guy spent an hour getting a decade-old brick of food out)
- NO WORKING LOCK ON BALCONY DOOR
- refrigerator shelves were rusted out; didn’t realize I needed to get a tetanus booster before renting this unit
- freezer was broken so the top storage basket would not slide out to put any food in it
- maintenance ppl just came and went as they pleased dropping things off/repairing things without notifying us! We had cash, laptop, iPads just laying about...
- WiFi was nearly NON-existent which would have been fine but the satellite TV pkg had zero options for kids so when we had downtime, we really didn't b/c the kids whined about not being able to stream their shows, etc.

We finally connected with a manager and asked for a refund for final night b/c we just couldn't be there anymore he said, "maybe gulf shores just isn't for you... we have employees who aren't back in their homes yet from the storm," implying our $ really
